Following in the footsteps of two critically acclaimed long-players for Tag Team Records (Songs That Sell Fish and Songs That Sell Out), Joewi Verhoeven’s Arrows Made of Desire join the REVERSE<<<POLARITY party with the 'Warriors & Worriers EP'. This six track release was completely home recorded and subsequently mastered by Yuli Chen at Sweet Factory Studios in Beijing. The EP marks a definite shift in direction for Verhoeven, with the inclusion of lo-fi electronics beefing up his already legendary guitar-based songwriting. While the EP completely resonates as a whole, stand-out cuts like 'Bittersweet', 'The Stoned Express' and title track, 'Warriors & Worriers' are easily some of the best crafted pieces of genre-hopping indie pop birthed in the Beijing underground, maybe...ever...and we’re pretty sure you’ll agree whole-heartedly.
